Delivery Information

NZSHELVING makes sure that you get your delivery on time and in one piece.

Dispatch

All orders are shipped using Track and Trace and require a signature upon delivery. Orders placed before 1:00 pm will be dispatched on the next working day (Monday to Friday only excluding public holidays). Please allow 1-2 extra days during peak seasons.  

Please allow an extra one or two business days for delivery to rural addresses. If for some reason we cannot fulfill your order within the specified timeframe, you will be notified by email of the new delivery time.

We are not able to deliver goods to PO Boxes!

Public Holidays

Orders made on a New Zealand public holiday will be processed on the next business day.

ORDER DELIVERY TIME

NZSHELVING is not responsible for service transit time. Transit times are provided by the delivery service, excluding weekends, holidays and may vary with package origin and destination, particularly during peak seasons.

Any quotations for delivery times by the NZSHELVING are made in good faith, but are estimates, and the seller shall not be bound by such a quotation.

Shipping Charges

-Shipping and Handling Fee options are listed at the check out page and require buyers to select correct location upon checkout.

-Deliberate selection of incorrect shipping option. Selecting a non-rural destination when based in Rural Location in order to avoid correct freight charges will result in fee reimbursement and delay in Delivery.

-Rural delivery costs are shown as estimates, and in circumstances where the estimated freight is not able to cover the freight cost, it would result in fee reimbursement. If the estimated charge is higher than the actual freight cost, the excess portion will be refunded.

-Item(s) will not be shipped until payment has been received in full and has cleared.

-When purchasing multiple bulky products, freight will increase according to qty.

- Smaller items purchased with bulky item will be shipped free of charge.

RISK OF LOSS OR DAMAGE

All items purchased from NZSHELVING are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.

NZSHELVING will not be held responsible for any damage, loss or delay occurring to goods in transit. Accordingly, we recommend that you arrange your own transit insurance.

DAMAGED GOODS

Prior to acknowledging delivery to the carrier, the buyer must ensure that the complete consignment as per the carrier’s note has been received.

The Buyer must check their item immediately to confirm damaged condition on arrival and report any damages or faults to the NZSHELVING by filling the return page, or e-mail directly (with photos if necessary) within 48hrs of having received their item. Please specify the item title and invoice number. We reserve the rights to refuse any claims that are made after this time frame.

TRANSPORT COMPANIES

NZSHELVING will decide which service is more appropriate for every delivery based on different services offered.

Delivery of Bulky items is done strictly door to door – Curb Side Service. This means that Driver will not take Bulky items up flight of stairs or difficult to access areas. Driver will make decision based on his sole discretion as to the level of assistance to provide upon delivery. As such, we strongly recommend, particularly for Bulky items, to have a number of people assisting with delivery.
